Myla's Bags is a small, one-woman shop dedicated to creating handmade handbags, totes, iPad cases, and a variety of small accessories. Founded by Michaela Phifer in 2007, Myla’s Bags began as a simple hobby after taking sewing lessons from my mother. Over time, this hobby blossomed into a full-fledged passion for designing and crafting unique garments and accessories.
Every item in my collection is designed, cut, and sewn by hand in my cozy home studio. I take great care in selecting fabrics, often from local and Etsy shops, with a special focus on bright colors and retro prints that bring joy and vibrancy to each piece. Whether it’s a handbag, wristlet, makeup bag, or a baby gift—each item is a one-of-a-kind creation, reflecting my love for both fabric and design.
In 2020, after becoming a grandmother, I expanded Myla's Bags to include a line of baby accessories, adding another layer of love and care to my offerings. My goal is to provide high-quality, handmade products that are not only functional but also fun to use.
